Boffi – Andreucci – Hoisl portrait

Alessandro Andreucci

He graduates in mechanical engineering at the University of Bologna, with a thesis in biomechanics at the research laboratory of Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute. After graduation, he moves to Germany, in Munich, where he begins to collaborate with Siemens Design & Messe, and then with System Design., where he met Christian Hoisl.
In 2000 he returns to Italy, at iGuzzini lighting, working mainly on projects by Renzo Piano Paris (RPBW).
In 2003 he lives and works in London for iGuzzini, assisting Ron Grad for lighting projects. Since 2004 he has his own industrial design office.
He collaborates on a project basis with Christian Hoisl, German designer. Together they design the wall bars Origine for Boffi in 2014 and the outdoor kitchen AH01 in 2018.

Christian Hoisl

Born in Munich, where he graduated at the University of Applied Sciences in Industrial Design.
From 1987 to 1992 he collaborates with Herbert Schultes and Martin Dettinger: development of System 25 for Bulthaup.
Then he joins the office System Design. developing kitchens, bathrooms, offices and outdoor furniture for clients such as Poggenpohl, Franke, Magis Kusch + Co and Garpa.
In 2000 he founds his own office in Munich, developing household appliances (Siemens, Gaggenau), bathroom furniture and accessories (Keuco), chairs for inside and outside, wardrobes (Schönbuch).
He collaborates on a project basis with Alessandro Andreucci, Italian designer. Together they design the wall bars Origine for Boffi in 2014 and the outdoor kitchen AH01 in 2018.
